Before you buy
After your order, we usually need one working day for personalisation and production in our workshop in Hamm. DHL shipping then takes a further 1 to 2 working days. In total, your bracelet is therefore usually with you at home within 1 to 3 working days.
During seasonal peak times such as Father’s Day, Mother’s Day or Christmas, the production time may be extended by one working day. During these periods you will always find a current notice in our shop with the recommended last order time.
To ensure your gift arrives in time for Father's Day on June 21, 2026, we recommend placing your order by 11:59 PM on June 15, 2026, at the latest. For other seasonal occasions, you can find the current deadline in the banner on our homepage.
Most men wear size M (20 cm) with us, which fits perfectly in around 80 percent of cases. Particularly strong-built men tend to need size L (22 cm).
Here is how to find the right size:
- Measure the wrist circumference of the recipient with a tape measure or a strip of paper.
- Add 3 cm to the measured circumference, which gives the ideal bracelet length.
- Alternatively, you can use our size finder on the product pages.
If you cannot measure the wrist directly, comparing it with an existing bracelet or a watch will help. And if it still does not fit perfectly, see our answers on the extension piece and size adjustment further below.
No problem, many of our customers are in the same situation. We have built in two solutions for this:
- With every leather bracelet we include a free 1 cm extension piece, with which you can easily adjust the length.
- Should the bracelet still not fit, we will adjust it individually for you through our size-adjustment service. You will find the details in the size-adjustment section.
For our leather bracelets we use genuine, natural leather. We pay particular attention to a high-quality structure and feel, so that your bracelet stays beautiful for a long time.
For the beads, rings and other metal parts we rely on 316L stainless steel. It is durable, waterproof, hypoallergenic and nickel-free. This means: no green skin discolouration, no irritation for sensitive skin and no tarnishing even after years.
Our bracelets are made for everyday use, but a few simple rules will help you enjoy yours for as long as possible:
- Leather does not like prolonged moisture. Take the bracelet off before showering, swimming or doing sports.
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, creams or disinfectants, as these can make the leather brittle.
- Occasionally wipe the bracelet with a dry, soft cloth.
- Every few months you can use a small amount of leather care product to keep the leather supple.
The stainless steel elements themselves are waterproof, the leather is not.
Yes, we can engrave letters, numbers, common special characters and emojis. You add emojis either via the emoji button in our live preview or via the emoji keyboard on your smartphone. Please note: emojis are engraved, but not shown in colour.
Up to 10 characters can usually be engraved per bead or ring. The live preview in the product configurator shows you the result even before purchase, so you avoid typos or overly long texts.
Yes. In our live preview you can see in real time what your bracelet will look like. That way you can calmly try out names, dates and emojis until everything fits.
With us, you can pay conveniently and securely using:
- PayPal
- Klarna invoice (after a successful credit check)
- Klarna instalments
- credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Sofort / Klarna
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- EPS transfer (Austria)
All payments are processed encrypted via PayPal or Shopify Payments. We never see your payment details at any point.
Yes, on request we're happy to send you an invoice by email or by post. Please contact our customer support at Info@papasplatz.de
No, we unfortunately don't currently offer separate express shipping, because shipping with DHL Warenpost (1-3 working days incl. production and personalisation) is already very fast.
Of course. Business orders are very welcome, especially around Father's Day and Christmas. At checkout, simply enter your company address and your VAT ID; you'll then receive the invoice by email. For larger orders of 10 bracelets or more, contact us directly at info@papasplatz.de and we'll advise you individually.
After your order
You can cancel your order or change the engraving free of charge until 23:59 on the day of the order. To do so, please send us an email as early as possible to info@papasplatz.de with your order number and the desired change.
The next day, personalisation already begins in our workshop, and from that point changes are only possible in exceptional cases. Non-personalised products can of course be cancelled up until dispatch.
As long as you reach us on the day of the order before 23:59, we will correct the error free of charge. Simply contact us by email at info@papasplatz.de. After production has started we can, in exceptional cases, offer a correction for a small fee, in which case it is also best to contact us directly.
First check your spam or promotions folder. Our confirmation email usually arrives within a few minutes of purchase. If you cannot find it, contact us at info@papasplatz.de with the name and address you entered at checkout. We will find your order and send you the confirmation again.
If you would like to change your address shortly after ordering, write us an email as soon as possible to info@papasplatz.de. As long as your parcel has not yet been handed over to DHL, we will adjust the delivery address. If the parcel is already on its way, you can arrange a redirection yourself via your DHL mailbox or the DHL app.
As soon as your parcel leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email from us with a DHL tracking number and a tracking link. Alternatively, you can enter your status on our tracking page at papasplatz.de/apps/trackingmore.
Please note: DHL sometimes only updates the shipment status after up to 48 hours. Especially with Monday dispatch, a status update is often only visible on Wednesday.
Yes, within Germany we also deliver to any DHL Packstation. At checkout, please enter the corresponding Packstation address along with your Postnummer.
That's annoying, but unfortunately it does happen occasionally. Please go through these steps:
- Check your mailbox, your front door, and whether a note for a parcel shop or Packstation was left.
- Ask your neighbours directly — DHL couriers sometimes leave parcels with them.
If after 24 hours you still can't find it, email us at info@papasplatz.de. Together with DHL we'll then open an investigation order.
Gift and packaging
Every bracelet comes by default in neutral packaging that is ready to be given as a gift. For a particularly beautiful gifting experience, you can optionally order one of our gift boxes at checkout.
No, you will receive your invoice exclusively digitally by email. There is no price information whatsoever in the parcel itself. If someone else opens the parcel, they will only see the product, never the price.
Yes, absolutely. At checkout you can enter a different delivery address. The invoice is then made out to you, and the parcel is delivered directly to the recipient. This way you don’t have to receive the gift yourself first.
Size adjustment and returns
We are very sorry, we have two solutions for you:
- Small adjustment: With the included 1 cm extension piece you can adjust your bracelet yourself.
- Larger adjustment: Through our size-adjustment service we shorten or lengthen your bracelet individually in our workshop.
You will find our size-adjustment service at papasplatz.de/products/grossenanpassung. There you choose your product, enter your desired size and send us the bracelet. The adjustment takes a total of 6 to 7 working days, after which we send your bracelet back to you in your desired size with a new DHL tracking number.
We have to carefully open the closed bracelet and replace it with a brand-new, high-quality leather band; the metal parts are reused. Together with the return shipping and the working time of our workshop, this creates costs that we unfortunately cannot cover in full. For many of our customers, our size-adjustment service is nevertheless the easiest solution when the size doesn’t fit perfectly.
We are very sorry, but no. Every bracelet is engraved and assembled individually for you and is therefore a personalised, custom-made product. For this reason engraved bracelets are excluded from returns and exchanges.
So that your bracelet fits perfectly, please check the size and your engraving carefully before ordering, our sizing tips will help you. And if the size is not quite right, you can use our paid size-adjustment service. If you have any questions before ordering, simply contact us at info@papasplatz.de, we are happy to help.
The actual adjustment in our workshop takes about 6 to 7 working days after your bracelet arrives. On top of that, there are 1 to 3 working days each way for shipping to us and back to you. In total, you should expect about 2 weeks until your adjusted bracelet is back with you.During seasonal peaks such as before Father's Day or Christmas, the adjustment may take a few additional working days. We process all adjustments in order of receipt and unfortunately cannot offer priority handling.This is how you can track the status of your adjustment:
- You can track the parcel on its way to us via the tracking number on your return receipt.
- Once the bracelet has arrived and been adjusted, we'll send it back to you with a new DHL tracking number.
- You'll receive this new tracking number automatically by email.
If you haven't heard from us for more than 3 weeks, feel free to contact us at info@papasplatz.de with your order number. We'll then look into it specifically.
Because every bracelet is engraved and assembled individually for you, it is a custom-made product and is therefore excluded from returns and exchanges (see the previous question).
If your bracelet does not fit, this is not a dead end: with the included 1 cm extension piece you can adjust it yourself, or you can use our paid size-adjustment service, with which we shorten or lengthen your bracelet individually in our workshop. If anything is wrong with your order, simply contact us at info@papasplatz.de and we will find a solution together.
Care and complaints
Our bracelets are made for daily wearing comfort and will last many years with proper care. If your bracelet should nevertheless show premature defects, for example a faulty clasp or a leather break within the first year, please contact us at info@papasplatz.de.
Ideally, send us a few photos of the bracelet and a brief description. We assess each case individually and, within the scope of our warranty, find a fair solution for you.
Yes, absolutely. Whether it's a new family member, a pet or a special day, you can extend your bracelet with additional engraved beads or rings at any time. You can find our extensions at this link

Papasplatz is an owner-managed family business based in Krefeld (North Rhine-Westphalia). Our manufactory is located in Hamm, right by the harbour. There, every bracelet is crafted by hand with great care and a deep love of detail.

Yes, our shop runs on Shopify and is fully SSL-encrypted. All payment data is processed exclusively through certified payment providers (PayPal, Klarna, Stripe via Shopify Payments); at no time do we see your payment data.
